Back when I was working at Blizzard Entertainment, had the chance to work with Corel Painter quite a bit. For about two years I didn't even open the program. About five months ago I started my subscription to Imagine FX magazine and noticed that they had some really great tutorials for painting in Photoshop and in Painter. I took these tutorials to heart and really started getting myself in gear to get painting people again. Although I paint in Photoshop quite a bit, I felt that it was time to start using Painter again. I had forgotten how fun the program really is. The idea for this image comes from when I was a little kid my mom and dad took me to Las Vegas. We were in some casino and I remember seeing this woman that had her face painted as a bird....It has always stuck me as a sign of beauty....
